Sponsored by RSGB, GB4FUN is a mobile fully self-contained communications centre that is already visiting schools and events up and down the country. The project is primarily aimed at supporting those studying for GCSEs and inspiring them into science based careers. The GB4FUN mobile classroom is a bespoke 27 foot trailer fitted out with a modern amateur radio outfit that includes HF, VHF, Satcomms and amateur TV.

The WWYN, or World Wide Youth Net is a net oriented towards young people that meets every Saturday at 1900 UTC on 21.305 MHz. You don't have to be young to check in, though. Anyone, young or old is welcome to check in. Young people licensed or unlicensed running under a control operator are also very much welcome to check in.
