HF Managers and Liaison Officers Reflector

Member Society officers are reminded of the existence of the IARU Region 1 HF Managers and Liaison Officers reflector. This reflector exists to encourage the exchange of information between Societies that might be of common interest, especially where HF matters are concerned. There is increasing activity concerning the preparations for WRC-12 and the issues that will affect the amateur radio services so it would be good if all Member Societies followed the same guidelines. At this time there are 43 Member Societies represented on this reflector out of a total of 92.  Some of those not represented include some of the larger and more active Societies.

If your Society is not represented and you would like to be on this list, or if you are not sure if it is represented then please contact Colin Thomas - G3PSM

Fieldday logs welcome

Fieldday groups in countries with low Fieldday contest activity and therefore without adjudicator may send the log to

fdcw at dxhf.darc.de  (this is a robot) | Subject: callsign  - Format: STF or Cabrillo

to get their result included into the international list. (In case of problems send to:  DK2OY at gmx.de ).  Results (in German language: Ergebnisse) from 2008 can be found at http://www.darc.de/referate/dx/fgdc08c.htm

Click on left side to    Ergebnisse (DL)    or     Ergebnisse (international).

Some societies are already exchanging  fieldday logs to get an overview and an international ranking list. HB9CZF and DK2OY are combining the national logs.
