How to become radioamateur
Amateur radio is regulated by international convention. This means that you can’t simply construct or buy a piece of amateur radio equipment and use it. You need a licence from your national telecommunications regulator. You will be able to obtain a licence when you have shown the necessary level of technical understanding of radio communications and, in some countries, satisfied some other requirements.

Most countries have a national amateur radio society, and for more information on the requirements in YOUR country, please contact your national society.
Once you have your licence, you can construct or buy your equipment, and operate it.
